This is an overview of the recent project as carried at Brighton General Hospital. The project required CPI to relocate, install backflow prevention and raise up and cap off existing hydrants. This was not an easy task due to site requirements and working with old pipework that has been in place for nearly a 100 years. As expected, the job carried quite a few variation to the original scope of works. However, once we settled in on site we were able to overcome all issues that were presented to us, with a bit of careful planning and site liaising.
We completed the project with brick surrounds as specified by the site, finishing off nicely and standing out for the right reasons.
Please see pictures below that demonstrate what our operatives had to deal with during this project.
